At 16 I joined the British Army and had a career spanning 10 years and seeing active duty in Iraq, Kosovo and Afghanistan. In 2014 I was medically discharged due to suffering with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I use running and outdoor activities as a way to cope with my PTSD and enjoy pushing my self to the limits of what my body (legs) can do.
I started this blog as away of sharing my experiences during training, Races and any other outdoor activity I take part in. In 2016 I set myself the challenge of running 5k, 10k, 15k, 22k, 50k, 80k and finally 100k set across the year after only having ran for 3 months prior to this.
2017 will be again another year of pushing myself further. It is with great pleasure I have been asked to be an Ambassador for Knuckle Lights and also a guest blogger and product reviewer at Red Squirrel Run Co.
Update I was Lucky enough to be a Finalist in the Run Ultra worldwide Bloggers award which I am deeply grateful for.
